Default Electronics upgrade??

I currently have a Raymarine C120w system with weather, DSM30 sounder module and network switch. Also have a standalone Northstar GPS and Furuno 582L sounder as backups. I would like to add autopilot and radar. It appears that Raymarine is moving away from the C Wide series with the latest CHIRP sounders and I don't know if it would be wise to invest more money in this platform.

I have a friend that is selling a NIB Simrad NSO system and 17" monitor. I know the NS series has been out awhile but it still seems to be fully supported by Simrad. I am leaning towards the Simrad but would like other opinions. Radar and autopilot features are what I am interested in.

I had a C80 system with DSM250 and radar. Pulled it all out and replaced with Simrad end to end. A lot of money but the latest gear is years ahead of what I had. Was tempted to just get the failing DSM250 fixed but bit the bullet and upgraded .

I have a C90W with DSM 30 and radar. I really like my package and have had great performance out of it. If you were to install radar and autopilot with your current package, you could upgrade to the C125 or C127 later and the radar and autopilot would be compatible. Whole lot of money for the Simrad system with no real difference in overall performance.

If you do decide to upgrade, send me a PM. I'll buy your weather system and network switch.
