Default Simrad NSS to Mercury Verados & Fusion Stereo

Looking for some advice on what to purchase:

I have 2 Simrad NSS 12's, BSM-2 Module, 4G Radar.

Id like to link the following:

Fusion IP700 Stereo to the MFD's
Satellite Weather & Radio WM-3 Model to the Fusion & MFD
Mercury Verado Smart Craft to the MFD

Anybody have any suggestions? Do i need to purchase the Simrad Sonic Hub even though i already have a stereo head unit? I am not positive if it is connected through NMEA or Simnet i believe it is simnet but i will check and update later.

The Simrad's does not speak to the Fusion IP700 units (yet) - no matter how you connect them. The way SonicHub speaks NMEA 2000 is different to how the IP7000 speaks NMEA 2000.

But the Mercury N2K gateway works quite well - and is $368ish (multiengine) on ClubVeradoParts - and will give you most SmartCraft info displayed on the NSS's. Works really well.

The NSS's uses standard NMEA 2000. And Simnet is just NMEA 2000 with a different connector anyway. I think the Radar if you have the RI10 module - has Simnet connector. The rest of you devices I think are standard Micro-C NMEA 2000 connectors.

If u have satellite radio thru ur simrad weather antenna then u need to get an adapter that does rca out that would go to the aux in on ur head unit. So that would take care of that. Doubt simrad is going to talk to fusion since they have their sonic hub. U can still use n2k to put out a signal to ur fusion and it should display depth and speed if u really care about that. And like he said about the verado will work or go get a mercmonitor gauge.

If ur trying to interface the fusion thru ur simrad the answer is no if u want to play ur satellite simrad radio thru the aux in on ur fusion yes. If u want to connect n2k from ur simrad to ur fusion to display depth speed etc that will work too
