Default Transducer for Furuno295

Was wondering what transducer you guys would recommend for Furuno 295 for bottom fishing in 80 to 120ft.It is on a cat.Looking for a thru-hull with very good performance.Thanks..

What are the details. Is it a 200kh only..That's all I use..Price??Thank you..

How did you end up with a 295 and you only fish 120ft.

That is a serious, commercial grade, deep water sounder.

I have had furuno sounders for almost 20 years 582L and 585 both with b260s.We just wanted a larger screen.The 295 has a lot more options when it comes to screen layout.You can run almost any configuration of high,low Zoom or mix mode..You can show high,low,high zoom and low zoom all at the same time...Capt.Mike

Gil,We have used all our furuno sounders bottom fishing the gulf..How about that price on the diver..Pm me.Capt.Mike

Gil,Isn't the ss264 wide 200 have a q of 15??What about the 270w I think it has a lower q,or is it not a big deal in 100 ft.I like the install of the ss264...easy.Capt.Mike

Max,It's not overkill if you catching more fish than everybody else.Most good fisherman on this coast (west coast of FL) use 1000 watt machines.I use to catch a lot of grouper with a 600 watt582L but I had a 1000 transducer.Capt.Mike

2kw @ 120 feet, the fish may float to the surface. That is a nice setup.
