Default Need help Garmin 2006c problems

I have a 2006c, 17n antenna with GSD 20 fish finder.
Had a problem recently where the GPS error code pop up "lost GPS signal", the radio display also would not show coordinates as it is spliced into the antenna.
Talked to Garmin and they suggest that I install a new antenna (GPS 19x HVS) using the supplier special resistor wire so the display would work properly.

Install the new antenna and the launch the boat for a day of fishing, 5 hours of usage then the error signal again and I lose GPS signal on the display… but this time the radio is still displaying the North & West coordinates from the antenna.

Replaced the Power/Data cord and the same thing happed after a couple hours Display lost signal but radio still reads GPS signal. I have two 2006 display units so I took the original one off the bracket and hook the other one up to the power data cable. Power up the unit, works fine for 5 minutes then lost GPS signal error code again, radio is still fine.

Triple checked all elect connections and also the 18 pin connector on the back of the GPS displays with a magnifier, no bent or broken pins.
