Default sony stereo wiring

I am replacing a 4-5 year old sony stereo with a new one. Is it advisable to use the old wiring harness with the new unit. It seems to be in good shape? I am not at boat right now but I believe that the harness is the same. It will make the install much easier for a novice around electronics.

Thanks for any advice

I usually reuse the same harness. Plug and play, why open up a can of worms and extra work. Check the pins for corrosion but you should be good to go.

I reused mine on my Clarion head unit. No problems. It was all inside the console with no moisture or corrosion.
