Talking HDS7 and Navionics

I already have a Lowrance HDS 8 Gen 2 on my bass boat. Structure scan is also installed. I use the Navionics hot maps platinum card in the HDS 8. I have recently replaced my old unit up front with a Gen 2 HDS7. I am running another cable up front so I can use the structure scan up front also. Do I need to purchase a second Navionics card for the HDS 7 to use the structure scan? Hope this is not too confusing. Thanks...

If the 2's have the latest update they will share the Navionics if connected with a Ethernet cable

When you put the chip in one of the units a popup will show up on the other saying there is a map card inserted.
