Default Simrad CHIRP screenshots of tuna and more

Following on from a few recent threads, thought I'd post a few recent shots from my Simrad BSM-2 setup taken on recent trips off Sydney, Australia, where we have just had a great run of Bluefin Tuna. My setup is BSM-2, NSE12, B265LH transducer mounted near the keel of my C/C using the high speed fairing.

I run twin optis and can track bottom at 20kn up to 1500ft no problems. Depth is in fathoms.

First pic is of the way i run my setup in terms of transducer

Second photo is of Bluefin tuna marking under the boat just before hook-up with the 3rd photo showing them under the boat in numbers

Default

From an advertised sounding that can even see mono and bait.... I'm not that impressed...
But that second screenshot looks like it picked up on a monster about 28 fa

Nice catch regardless....
