Default Command Link to Garmin 5208 w/Maretron harness...

Picked one up thinking it would just plug into the Yamaha hub and the other end into my nema2000 network. Well the nema end is a no brainer. But where to with the other end. I have a "blank" plug in the hub but its a 6 wire. What I'm I missing?

A Command Link hub has six ports. One power, two main bus and three device ports. You need a spare device port to plug the Maretron connector into.

I suspect that the "blank" plug you are referring to is an end line resistor.

Get a short main bus harness (they come in different lengths) and another hub.

Install the new hub next to the existing hub.

Remove the end line resistor from the existing hub.

Install one end of the main bus harness into the bus port from where the resistor was removed.

Plug the other end of the main bus harness into a bus port on the new hub.

Move the resistor from the old hub to the new hub.

You will now have three device ports available.
