Default Simrad JS10 joystick

Anyone using one or have thoughts or opinions on one ?
Wondering how water proof they are and or how they will hold up under exposed saltwater elements. (mounted outside aft)
Thanks

I have one and I dont think it would hold up too well exposed. I would bed it well and coat the switch underneath with something.

You could just use a waterproof SPDT momentary switch wired to the "remote" poles on the A/P for a lot less $$.

I plan to install one and a Morse control in a hidden compartment on my transom.
Thought about a wireless remove and storing inside wheelhouse when not in use but I could just see it end up in the drink when it is in use..

Why don't you add an OP10?
