Default Raymarine A65/DMS25 or Lowrance HDS-5 w/insight?

Looking for some feed back as to which is the better unit. Fish in Lake Michigan out to 200ft.

Kind'a an apples & oranges comparison there.

The A65/DSM25 combo is a veritable antique which has been disontinued for ~3 years. Heck, the replacement models (A70/A70D) are now also discontinued. In any event, the ONLY thing it has going for it is a somewhat larger screen vis-a-vis the HDS-5.

The HDS-5 is a current model (at least presuming you mean the "Gen2" version), and superior in every way save for the screen size. The HDS-7 Gen2 and (especially) HDS-8 Gen2 models remove even this quibble.
