Default Lowrance HDS-10 compatible with Foruno Open Array Radar?

I have a HDS-10 unit, and want to add a large open array radar to my boat so I can spot birds up to the horizon.
I have a line on a Foruno DRS12A (6', 12KW open array) for a good price. Ultra High Definition (UHD)

It seems that this radar would be very capable of seeing birds IF it can be used with my HDS-10.

Any ideas?

Also, if this is not compatible, what kind of open array, high power radar is compatible?

Not even close to compatible. Call navico and ask if the simrad TX10S-1 would work with your unit

Thanks for the quick advice.

I am new to the marine electronics world and it is so overwhelming with everything that is out there. Thanks again for your expertise.

I put a Simrad 48" open array on my HDS-10. When off Grand Bahama, I can pick up a flock of birds 12 miles away easily from my Dusky 256.
