Nema2000 on Yamaha 250F?

Default Nema2000 on Yamaha 250F?

Can anyone tell me if a 2008 250F has a nema2000 output?

yep. look under the console they usually have a command link buss bar. you just need to buy the wire that plugs into that and has n2k output.

Thanks.. Even if the boat doesn't have Command link guages? It is on a Pathfinder that is not in my possession yet.
I appreciate the help.

Yes, even without CL gauges.

You can get a cable that connects to the engine pan connector and which then runs up to the chart plotter. One type will connect directly to the chart plotter. The other type will connect to a chart plotter network.

Or, you can buy the Yamaha network and connect to it, either with or without the use of a Yamaha Gateway.

Thanks guys It is for a Hummingbird 998c si so I know I have to buy their new nema2k adapter for about $200 so do I go from that to the command link buss if I have or to the output in the engine pan if not? Is that cable available or does one have to be made up?
