Default HDS7 or HB 898CI HD SI

I know this is a loaded question but i need some help deciding which to get.
HDS 7 Gen2 LSS2
HB 898CI HD SI

I fish lakes, the MS river, and south LA marsh.

Which one would you choose if you could only have one on your boat.
Easy use

I have not had it for long but I really like the HDS7. (switched from a HB). It is very easy to use and set up and matched up with lss-2 ducer is great. I need to buy a different chip, I think the insight map is a little light on the detail. There is another thread about the different chips for the HDS7.

In freshwater, it's a toss up. However, the Lowrance is far better suited for any saltwater use.

I'm of the same base opinion as makoman, adding -
My last 2 FF were Furuno, great machines that marked structure and fish well.
Temped by SI, I recently picked up a used HB 997C here on THT.
Have only been out fishing 4 times so far this season, but thus far the 2D sonar is at least as good as the furuno at target separation and display details for the salt water depths I typically fish in (<100ft).
Pic below from a recent fishing trip over an artificial reef, machine basically in auto mode, only 2 settings were Water_Type=SaltWater_Deep, SwitchFire=Clear_Mode.
I haven't messed with manually dialing in settings yet, but have noticed the water_type setting for saltwater shallow vs deep makes a major difference in display results in the bay vs ocean.
