Default Need new power cord for cannon downrigger

Had an electric downrigger quit working today and realized I had a plug in pin break off but after looking at power cord the cord needs replacing (couple of worn areas that look real bad)

These the the Mag 10's( I think)

have black plug ins not the yellow ones I see on Cannon's web site.

Where is a good place to get them and can I change them over to the new connections if they are better, not a big deal to replace the plug in on the boat if I need to

Call Canon and they will send you a new one. They are well aware that their plugs are terribly flawed and will send you a replacement. I have 2 mag 10tses that are only a year old and I've had to replace both plugs. They corrode very quickly and the pins break easily. PM me if you would like some tips on changing them out. I found it to be a bit difficult to get the
casings opened up to make the repair. Next time get Scotty's, they make a much better downrigger.
