Default Need help choosing an autopilot...

I've a 28ft Aluminum boat with new Garmin 4210. Power is a Yamaha 350. I'd like to mate the Garmin to an autopilot. I'll use it mostly for trolling at slow speeds (2kts).

What's the one to get?

Thanks!

Simrad

For the most part the remote computer is the same in all of them and the main difference in model numbers is which control head comes with it.

x2 for the Garmin Autopilot. Love mine, works well. Nice integration into your system

Thanks for the input. I do like the idea of using Garmin just to keep things same/same. Hope it can handle slow speeds...

How do I know which unit to get? Garmin offers the ghp10, 12 and 20...will either of the 3 work better tied to the yamaha 350 than the others?

i'm out of the country or i'd call them...

thanks.

seriously don't ask here - we can't diagnose from afar - find a good dealer and review it with him...BOEmarine.com comes to mind....email jim....

That's a beautiful pic of your boat. A far cry from any boat/pic that I'd get out of SC.
