Default CHIRP capable transom mount transducer options?

Hello all,

I have just been browsing through airmar's site to see whether they had a new mounting bracket for the TM265 transducer, however I can't seem to find a word on CHIRPing transom mounts. Have they removed them from the products list until they resolve the bracket issues? I'm currently masterminding ( in conjunction with the bank ) a new depthsounding system using Garmin's 7012 and the GSD 26 black box, just need to be safe about the transducer situation before I go ahead.

Thank You,
Charlie

The Tm260,TM258,Tm270W andTM265 all use the same mounting bracket and the new units now being produced do not have any issues.

The bracket recall was for only a small number of units produced between Oct 20111 thru Feb 2012...those units have been identified .

TheTm265 is the only CHIRP transom mounted ducer.

But you have a whole range available from tank inhull to fairing mounted thru hull...and more.

Quality photograph! Thanks for sorting me on the transducers - I have a Boston Whaler, so it will be easiest for me to have a transom mounted model. If I can't get a deal from Garmin directly, I shall be contacting you!
