Default 83/200 and 50/200 interference

I know this question has been asked many times so here it comes again.

I have read where 2 transducers will cause interference with each other when operating near the same frequency.

So if I currently have an a Lowrance 83/200 and also mount and Airmar P66 50/200, will they cause interference if say one is on low frequency and the other on high frequency on 2 different head units? Thanks

No, they should be fine, for example run one at 83 and the other at 200. You do want the transducers probably 2 to 4' apart if you can. But as long as the freqs are that far apart and the transducers are installed a couple feet apart, you should be fine.

It will work fine even if the transducers are close. Mine are 6" apart and I have no interference problems.

The boat came with an older C-120, I run split screen 50 & 200. When I reach my fishing area, I switch my HDS 10 "gen 1" to a split screen 83 & Structure Scan 800. I cruse with the Lowrance split between NAV & Sonar or Side Scan. I have no interfearance issues. They just happen to be about three feet apart. However, I don't like the mixed brands ither. I'm taking the plung into SIMRAD CHIRP, changing everything.
