Default Autopilot question

Since I have an I/O with a Bravo-III, choices for autopilots are pretty limited. It's a power-assist cable steer setup.

One of the options is the RAYMARINE SPX-5 P70R. (see at http://www.boemarine.com/T70016_Raym..._Control_Head/ ).

Anybody run one of these have any feedback?

Another option is the Octopus drive (http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?...189&id=1311542). This is compatible with my installed cables, but can't for the life of me figure out what control box and head would be compatible wtih this drive. Any help?

spx 70 r great unit mine was installed this week not used yet but all the research i did shows this is the only option for hydralic assist type stearing.west marine sold it to me for 1800 no tax no shipping, install was 700 bucks.i installed it on 2012 bayliner 266 discovery mercruiser 350 engine with b3 stern drive .your only concern should be if the boat full laidened is not more than 7000 lbs.octopus drive has to go behind dash, its expensive .they told me at octopus that the raymarine unit would be enough for my boat they were very helpfull this boat is 26 feet
