Default Trying to update GP7000F?? Need help!

Trying to update software, and it will not read my SD card to inatilize the card. I have a 2GB card and they recomend a 64MB card. Could this be the issue? It says you have to initalize the card first and I have tried it both ways.

I know with the Raymarine updates, a 2gb card would probably not work, I would say that's probably your issue

I guess, the only other thing I can thing of is that you usually need to clear and format a card to whatever format is spec'd. When you download, you usually need to unpack and or unzip the files. I know with Raymarine for instance, when you download the upgrade, you get 8 or 9 files and you only need 2 of them to be on the CF card. Call Furuno tech support tomorrow, they'll walk your right through it.

My GP7000F updated fine but only when I used a 512mb SD card. Wouldn't update with a 2GB card for some reason
