Default Another JL speaker question

I'm about to replace the crappy 6.5 inch clarions on my 24 foot bay boat. I'm adding a clean 50x4 watt amp in the console. I plan on running a set of JL Audio M650 coaxials up front and a set of M770 coaxials in the rear. Both sets off the amp. Anyone with a similiar set-up? Impressed? Should I just go with 2 sets of the M770s?

Thanks for the insight.

With a 50watt x 4 amplifier why not go with the MX speakers and save yourself some cash? I would do 770's if you can fit them!

This is clean 50x4 amp (old school PPI power class)...I want the quality of the Ms over the MX.

That was my vote, but I'm worried that front set of 7.7s may look obnoxiuos in only a 24 foot boat.

Anyone have pics?

Honestly if they werent right next to eachother most people wouldnt notice the size difference between the 6.5 to the 7.7, so I wouldnt worry about it!

That's what I'm hoping. I ordered a set of 7.7s and I will see what they look like in front. then, decide if I should get another set of 7.7s or 6.5s.
