Default Simple inexpensive NMEA2000 fuel meter?

I'm getting tired of waiting for Raymarine to update the software on the e7 to support GPH and I really miss having fuel consumption information since I re-powered. To bridge the gap until Raymarine finally DOES update their software, I'm wondering if there is a good, simple readout that will allow me to see the GPH from my engine via my existing NMEA2000 backbone. Ideally it will also have a resettable "totalizer" so that I can see total fuel consumption after a trip.

I know the Lowrance MF-200 will do this, and I assume that I can pull the NMEA0183 output from the e7 to feed GPS data to the LMF-200 as well as the gph data from the Honda BF225 engine.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a housing so that I can mount the LMF-200 on top of the dash rather than drilling another hole for this temporary installation.

Any relevant experience or suggestions would be appreciated - thanks!

Perhaps something like one of Ocean Equipment's NavPods:

Or just make a 3-sided , open bottom, wedge-shaped, on-dash enclosure for it out of white PVC like Azek house trim board . It can be cut, sanded , planed ,drilled, etc., as easily as wood and , unlike StarBoard, it can easily be cemented at the joints with plumbing PVC cleaner & cement (& few minutes clamping) for a bond as stong as the PVC stock.
