Default suzuki twin 150 gauge question

I am just about to repower with 09 150's . I am looking for someone who has put the fuel managment instument on this set up .

I am going to put the anolog gages for everything else but I would like a fuel gauge similar to the yamaha one I have now.

Just woundering about ease of use and acuracy, the dealer told me he has had complants with the full digital system but has not instaled the independent gauge so really did not have an opinion about it

I wanted to put the floscan meter on but it says it will not work properaly with the new 4 strokes ( will not read GPH )

I don't have twins but I just set up a NMEA2000 network with my single Suzuki 250. I have the analog gauges but replaced my analog fuel gauge with the Lowrance LMF-200 along with the EP-65R fluid lever sensor and the Suzuki engine management interface. I also have a Lowrance HDS-10 Gen2 which actually made setting the system up much easier than using the LMF-200 to do it. So far I am pretty happy with the system and the Suzuki interface appears to be pretty accurate at fuel flow and mileage. I consulted with Brownspoint Marine prior to starting and found out everything I would need from them and then ordered my electronics from Jim at BOE.

thanks for the link , after reading all of that I have desided to do a stand alone unit. It looks like it can be done but I dont like the fact that you need a lowrance head unit to do the calibrations and softwear updates

Thanks

A new 5" HDS Gen I is cheaper than a couple of gauges right now.
