Looks like i-com is doing the Standard Horizon thing. Little late in the game, but i-com makes some soild product & it never hurts any of us to have another opition as it helps with prices overall.

If it's a solid product built to last then good for them. I hope they watched the others and made the right choices on what not to do.

I like the look of it very much. I'm interested to see how this stuff does. The scanners don't look like the JRC stuff that Standard, Simrad, Lowrance, etc. are using, does anyone know if Icom engineered these things from scratch? I've gotta say, their little play on words just doesn't work for me:

"You've Always Trusted Icom to Talk to There, Now Trust Icom to Get You There. "

Upon looking @ the specs.....Only 800x600 resolution for a 12.1" screen? Sorry...That doesn't cut it in my book. Should be 1024x768.

They make great radios.

They need better proof readers: "Up to tow MFDs can be connected to a main processor unit (MPU) and support separate dual display operation."

Again?
This isn't the first time for Icom. They did it before and bailed when it was unsuccesful.
