Anyone recieve their Lowrance rebate yet?

Default Anyone recieve their Lowrance rebate yet?

I filled out the paperwork and submitted my rebate form for an HDS-7 I bought a while ago. Has anyone esle done this, and if so how long did it take Lowrance to send you your rebate money? Thanks.

I sent mine in 10 or so days ago... 2 of them. $400 bucks I think it said up to 8 weeks.....I made copies of everything including the UPC bar codes I sent them.

They ran the same deal last year and it look a little while after i sent in my package, but I eventually received all the appropriate checks as rebates. Probably took a couple months. You should be good.

Rebates are processed by a 3rd party entity

never easy to tell when it will come back

the manufacturer receives a "bill" a bit after the redemption period is over

Sounds like no one recieved their rebate money yet.

It's always a hassle with rebates. I understand that the current rebates are issued via one of those PITA Visa cards. I'll be finding out shortly how much of a hassle as my order is being placed Saturday.

I suspect that 3rd party that administers the rebate programs must get a large % of everything they do not pay out. I hope you kept a copy of the form you filled out and the sales receipt & UPC as the form advises to do..... and the window for calling in to check on the rebate that has not arrived has not yet expired. They most always say , "allow 8-10 weeks for processing. "

Here's one of their latest rebate forms .

The 2nd to last line of the teeny print (p.2) of most all of the forms includes this sentence with variations of the close date:

"If you do not receive your rebate check within 8-10 weeks, you must call 1-866-652-9511or visit www.rebatepromotions.com no later than 8/12/12 or all rights hereunder will expire. "

If that happens to be the specific form you sent , you do have a little time left to check in......

Call that number before the deadline and you will get your rebate.If you miss the deadline chances are good you will not.

My experiance with the rebate program was less than ideal.
It appears they will do everything they can to avoid paying.
This was my saga.
1) submit all required paperwork on time and save copies
2) recieve notice denying rebate ( reason for denial paperwork not sent on time)
3) call 800# number to protest and they rep. tells me it was a mistake and everything is good to go and will be sending a check in a week or two.
4) month goes by still no check ( it is now getting close to the deadline for contacting them if you have not recieved check yet)
5) call again and this time the rep says she can't figure out why my rebate is taking so long ( yeah right)
6) Call again a week later as I have still not recieved check. Rep says its in the mail.
7) two weeks later check finally recieved.

This is total BS
Beacuse of this experience and lack of replacement part support from Lowrance ( a whole other saga) I will never purchase another Lowrance prouduct again.
It is unfortunate because I like the HDS and radar that I purchased from them but their customer service sucks. And with the price of electronics today customer service is very important to me.
