Transducer and wood core

Default Transducer and wood core

I have a 1997 contender that has wood core.. I bought a used Raymarine C80 and need to buy a transducer .. is their a in-hull transducer that will work with wood core??

You mean a skimmer type transducer that will shoot through the hull?

Many drawbacks to using an in hull with either foam or cored hulls.
Some installs do work but only after coring or foam is removed.

That boat should not have a wood core? It should be solid glass below the water line.

That would be a simple solution for his interest to upgrade the transducer and use a M260.
