Default Clarion CMD6 USB question ?

I just installed the Clarion CMD6 on the boat and am curious about the USB option. Is there any particular USB device anyone could recommend and what format for the tracks is the most desirable. Thanks Mark

You can hook a ipod wire to it or use a USB thumb drive and just load mp3 audio on it.

you can do what fishon said. The cmd6 can do the interface for the ipod so you can run through song list play list etc. if you dont have an ipod it can hand 2 folders with 256 songs a piece in them. and you can switch between the folders with the remote.

Hey guys thanks for the info. The Ipod seems to be a better choice. I will probably go that route. I like the idea of going through the playlist.

Get one of these from Clarion and mount the USB port on your dash. iphone/ipod plugs right in using the apple cable and you get the playlists on your Clarion Head unit screen.
