Default Autopilot raymarine vs simrad

Does any one have an opinion on ray marine vs simrad autopilots? I will be installing my self on a 42' sport fish. I was leaning towards a ray marine, but I would like to hear some pros and cons on the two. I priced out the x-30 core pack withe type II hydraulic steering for 3100. I am not sure what I would need for a simrad model. Maybe some one could help me with that as well? Thanks for the help!

Simrad most popular with Sportfishing boats

you need to select the components

the dispaly AP24 or AP28, AC12 computer, pump RPU160, RF300 rudder feedback and heading sensor RC42. This is just one possible combination, each boat and owner will need to to customize differently based on the boat and personal needs. A package is available, such as the AP2404 with the above items sold in a "kit"
