Default Simrad Broadband For Better Visibility Up CLose

I am selling my 31' flybridge and going to an 40' express boat. The visibility while driving will be much worse due to lower water visual profile. I am thinking of going with a Simrad 4G Broadband radar in order to have better pickup of objects close by. I dont need to know what is 40-60 miles from me, but want to see what is 10 feet from me before I hit it. I do run in the dark a lot as well. Does this sound like a good plan?

Yes in close they are very good I had the br 24 and I could steer out from the boat ramp with rock walls around it with only looking at the radar you just zone right in then once the area opens up gradually zone out ,the newer 4 g is meant to be even better I'm going to get the 4g on my new boat as I do more nights than days , hope this helps
