Default Marine CD/AM-FM/XM-Sirius Stereo

I have a Sony unit wired to an XM Roady receiver now...looking at replacing it with something that has a little more flexibility(IPOD input, etc.). I would like to have something that has a built-in amp, and is XM radio ready. From what I can see, most only are satellite-ready with the use of optional modules. Is there something out there that I can just plug-and-play with XM and not have to buy a separate XM receiver?
Glen E...you are the Alpine guru. They offer anything? I am not locked in to any one manufacturer, but neither do I want to buy something I'll have to replace in a year or two. I am willing to pay for a quality product.

nope not me, don't know alpine - but good stuff... but no matter what anyone says - no head unit has an amp in it - and I expect the fusion fanboys will come along here and say they have 70W, but that's not real RMS power - all head units are good for power at anchor in the boat, need an amp for anything else...

Want connectivity out the a$$? - get the clarion or fusion new units released last month or so...

I have a Clarion cmd6 on my boat, CD/AM/FM and XM/sirius capable. Quality unit and well worth the money. Found a unit on-line and west marine matched my price.

i LOVE my Fusion IP600!!! And the Rockford Fosgate Punch 150 it's plugged into.

I have 4 x 7" Fusion speakers (260W Peak)

I'm in the process of hooking up XM/Sirius to it now as a matter of fact... :-)

Kinda rethinking this whole thing now...maybe it's all in the amp. Anyone recommend a good marine amp in the 4 X 60W RMS range? I have Intinity speakers that are rated 80, and don't want to buy new ones...I may keep the head unit and add a satellite radio module, since that's what I usually listen to anyway. Looked at the Sony XM-604M amp--anyone had any experience with this particular model?

make sure you check RMS and PEAK watts for your speakers.

If they're 80W peak.. you dont want to put an 80W RMS feed into them from an amp.

my fusion stereo still freaks people out. I love seeing the jaws drop when i open the face and slide the Ipod in there. Really, who wants to deal with CD's any more? even mp3 cd's. so happy with the fusion.

The big buttons (not to mention the ability to dim the face at night) are awesome as well.
