Default 04 Suzuki 140 and nmea 2000

Hey guys, i got a question here that i'm hoping someone can chime in on. I have searched around but it is hard to find info on a specific motor and the nmea 2000 system, unless someone has started a thread on it.

My question is, i have currently have a 2004 suzuki 140 four stroke on my boat and was wondering if this engine is compatible to use the engine interface to use the engine gauges page on the lowrance hds units ?

Then i was thinking i could just use the EP-60R sensor which would give me my fuel info which is what i am basically looking for. But besides that fact that now i would not be utilizing any of the other gauges, but the fact that some older four stroke motors give you faulty readings due to their two stage fuel delivery system

If anyone could help me out i'd appreciate it

Check these threads. 2004 DF140 is the same engine as DF90/115.
