Patience. I'll post some on Friday barring no installation issues.

I have a couple of cheesy cell phone shots in skinny water (8' or so). I haven't been fishing since installing the 24 late last week. I'll post them if you want but I don't believe it will do the 24 justice. I do think it will be a big big improvement over the 22 from what I saw.

make sure you aren't drinking before, nothing like drilling for a thru-hull transducer not thinking about being in the water.

Fellows, first I'm going to be in the Bahamas. Not drinking is against the law! I did say I'm only going to have a 6 pack of Kaliks. In the Bahamas this is about as close to non drinking as you can get.

I will celebrate with the Mango Bangos after the install!

Wow Portland! Good screen shots! Is that a bottom rig you dropped in the bottom right hand picture? Garmin might have restored my faith in their fishfinders!

Yes the far right side is a 4 inch jig dropped down and then jigged in. Fishing Yellow tail. Its hard to tell here but the picture of 708 ft ...the light blue fish at the bottom are individual fish. and arches.

I've been able to see my jig going down on every single sounder I've ever had, including the GSD22. That's no biggie.

Garmin GSD22 - cheap Garmin factory default 50-200 transom mount transducer. But that's in less than 300 ft.
