Default navnet vx2 question

actually a couple
1. Is the Dff1 sounder box compatible with the vx2, and do you need a different transducer for the digital stuff?
2. Does the Dff1 and the Bff1 sounder box require a broadband transducer or will they take anything?
Thanks
This is going to a charter boat with an old furuno 667 bottom machine. I am guessing that transducer is not going to work. Prices I have seen on the non broadband transducers 1k 50/200 are around 600$ the broadband prices up to 1000? that about right?

Yes the DFF1 will work, and the transducer should work but will need an adapter cable. most likley a B744V on there now, the 667 was 300W so if you want 1KW you will need a new transducer.

exactly what I was looking for. It may already have a 1kw ducer I need to ask the owner and I doubt he knows. I will pull the wire and see if I can get a number

1. Digital sonars can use almost every current Airmar transducer. The Dff1 can use everything from a P66 ,B60, P79, B744V, B164,Tm258,Tm260,Tm270W,SS264 Pairs, B260,B271W,M260 plus a few more.

And yes, prices go from $600 to over $1000. for the 1 Kw units.

For non broadband 600 watt units that can be used with the Dff1 can go from $100. to $200.
