Default Raymarine Radar Problem

i have a pathfinder rl 70c wont power on . there is power to the power cable? any thoughts? inline fuse (which i cant see) thnax in advance

The standard W144 power cable that came with that unit does not have an inline fuse built in. That's not to say it wasn't added, but there's no "hidden" fuse. Are you getting anything, key beeps. What if you apply 12VDC to it, is there a faint click when you press the power button?

There are no internal fuses that could cause a "no power up" issue on that unit.

RL70's are reel sensitive to power drain. Check for corroded connections and undercharged batteries .

nada, no clicks, no image just black screen, cable is live though so maybe unit is toast???

Two things about myRL70 that makes it behave that way. #1 batteries, if there low the unit will not power up. #2 my unit is bracket mounted and if the left bracket knob is torqued to tight it won't power up.
