Anybody using the Apline 118M Waterproof 1.8 DIN Marine CD Receiver??

We have installed one before its really a good unit, do you use a lot of cds because if you dont I would go with the kenwood kmr 700u because it contains the ipod or mp3 player internally (high and dry) and also has a black box design so the important electronics can be mounted in the console, but if you use cds the alpine is a good choice

I installed the IDA-X100M on my boat when I did the restoration and it was great. I have no need for CD's on the boat and instead prefer to just take my I-pod along. Not sure what is going to be on my new boat but when it dies I will get another Alpine for sure!

Doesn’t really answer your question, but I installed a CDA-9886M a few years back. No issues whatsoever after a several seasons on the water. Very happy with my Alpine.
