Default breakers vs fuses

Getting a new panel and am going with breakers on it. Is there a difference in rating breakers and fuses? I seen something on Raymarine's site saying to go with a 15 amp fuse or a 10 amp breaker.

Not really. There are some small suttle differences on how they "break" dipending on the type of fuse, and type of breaker. But for what you doing (aka boat stuff), the same size breaker will be fine.

Yep. Essentially, "amps" are amps. The wire doesn't know what is protecting it. Occasionally, you might find a device that's protected with a fast blow or slow blow fuse, but for the most part jou really don't have to worry about it.

In the bilge of a gas powered I/O or inboard, you do have to worry about ignition protection.
