Default Best gps

I have a 19ft cc That I use for the bays and some inshore fishing on wrecks and shoals in the area. Any opinion on a accurate gps? not looking for anything too pricey.

Are you looking for a cahrtplotter only or a cahrtplotter/fishfinder combo?

What is your budget?

Just a chartplotter, I dont know if they make them anymore but just a plain gps unit would work. I would spend up to $500

Furuno introduced a new GPS only unit, GP-33, last year. I've seen it for $440. GP-33 is probably the best choice for those running PC charting software.

I'm very happy with Lowrance HDS, you can get it as a chartplotter only unit, HDS-5M, for about $530 with built-in charts.

HDS-5M

The Garmin GPSMAP units go from $350 on up. Nice reliable units.

HDS-5 would give you room to expand to sonar without a lot of bucks.
