Default New Electronics installed on Key West 2300, before and after pics

I finally got everything installed into the boat this past week. Thanks to everyone for answering my questions the past few weeks and helping weed through some components.

I had the guys (Steve and Chad) from Navigator Marine Electronics in Long Beach, MS do the install and they were great. It took a lot of moving things around to get everything installed but they took their time and did some awesome work.

Here's a before picture.

And here is the after pic.

Here's the line up:

Garmin 7212
18HD radar
GSD22 sounder
GDL40 for weather
VHF 300 AIS
Networked both 115 Etecs into Garmin

The Garmin 178 that was on top left some nasty holes. I had purchased a stainless steel drink holder from Boat Outfitters that had suction cups (http://www.boatoutfitters.com/store/...ups-White.html). They took the design of that and made a custom board that covered those holes and mounted the drink holder on top.

They made a custom panel for the 7212, you'll notice they screwed everything in from the back leaving a clean look, no screws or anything on the front.

All the switches had to be moved and Steve made a custom switch board that looks awesome and we moved the tachs down and the lenco trim tab over. I thought about mounting the trim tabs near the throttle but it would have had to been mounted flat which I didn't want to do since water would collect on it. And we moved the fuel gauge.

It took them 4 days to do the install with all the wiring but they took their time and I'm very pleased with the look of everything.

Can't wait to get it in the water!

UPDATE: The old Garmin was already promised to a buddy of mine that helps work on the boat. It is already gone.

Looks amazing. I am a huge fan of the clean look from the no screws in the mounting pieces. Great job and thanks for sharing the picture.

Justin - It was definitely a transformation. After Steve and Chad showed me some pics of their previous work with all the custom things they've done, I knew I had found the right guys to do what I needed. I told them they need to get on TV and have a show called "Pimp My Boat".

I"m on a boat - glad you like it!

Very nice upgrade. Would you sell the old gauge panel? I have a key west 2220 that looks like it is the same size. I have a few cracks in mine though.

Just to clarify you are referring to the aluminum panel in the before pic?

Nice job!
