Default Deal on a garmin card reader?

I have a Garmin 3010c with the proprietary form factor SD card. I actually just found out that I have a data card. I want to update my machine so that it stops showing the year as 1991. It also seems to think it is January. I know I can get a card from garmin just to do the update but I would rather get a rader so I can update it myself and then be able to download waypoints to my PC. Anyone know where I can pick up a card reader on the cheap for the old syle garmin cards?

I got the card reader today and got the update loaded on the card but haven't gotten it to the boat yet. Thanks again Boat Hound.

For anyone else looking for these readers, there are several for sale on ebay. Word is, they will not operate under Windows 7.

I plugged it into my Win7 machine and it didn't want to work. I keep a D600 Dell with XP on it for just such an issue. It worked fine on the XP machine. I might have been able to mess with it and get it to work on Windows 7 (I am an systems analyst for work) but with the other machine sitting here I didn't need to spend the time. I also run the Etec diagnostics on the same machine because it has a serial port.

Still have windows xp on machine I previously used for my card reader. Had problem but downloaded an update to an old MAPSOURCE (garmin product) that had new usb drivers for card readers. No idea if it will work with win 7, but it might be worth a shot. PS don't know if Mapsource will work with Win 7 either.
