Default Furuno FCV620 vs Garmin GSD22

My 12 year old FCV582 CRT is just showing shades of blue. I could repair the 582 or replace with a FCV620 or GSD22 since I have a Garmin 3210 Chartplotter. I plan to use my existing B744V transducer as it is only 5 years old. Any comparisons between the FCV620 and GSD22?
Thanks

None ..... besides the GDS 22 is old tech soon to be replaced by the GDS24. WIth that said I'm a fan of standalone FF. Take a hard look at the Furuno 620 but take a harder look at the Furuno 585.

If you are using the B744 then the FCV620 is my choice.
An excellent track record, easy to use and superb support from Furuno.
If you plan to upgrade the transducer then the FCV585 if you ever fish in water over 400' 500' regularly.

A very popular unit..just try and find one used.
