Default Northstar 952

I have had a northstar 952 on my boat for over 10 years with out a glitch. I have 2 VHF radio's in a overhead radio compartment. When I transmit with the Icom VHF it knocks out the gps signal. I moved the power to a power pack with the same results. I have the extra VHF cable coiled in the radio box. When I move the cable to different location it no longer interfere's with the GPS signal. The other VHF radio has no effect on the GPS.
Is there way to shield the VHF cable to prevent from interfering with the GPS
