Default Need help interfaceing electronics Thom

I finally got the cable for my furuno fish finder.Thom i want to interface my icom 502 to my garmin 182c gps for dsc.Also interface my furuno 600l fishfinder to garmin 182.Thanks for all your help.grumpy

Hooking the Icom up is a matter of connectin 2 wires. + NMEA and - NMEA. Check the manual for the wire colors from the Garmin GPS for NMEA out plus and minus, and simply connect them to the RCA connector on the Icom. The center pin on the RCA connector is plus, the other part is the minus. You can buy a RCA connector at radio shack for $2. Shrink wrap it as it is NOT water proof.

I had to hook up my garmin 2006c to my icom 402, not sure for your model but on mine it is the blue wire. Hope this helps.
