Anyone using this? What cell service does it use? How do you like it?

I'm looking at this for my up and coming upgrade as well. I can't tell on their map really where it is going to function. Has anyone used this in the Gulf of Mexico? If so how far out?

Here you go ......

Coverage areas of up to 620 mi by 620 mi (1,000 km by 1,000 km), including the U.S. (including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands), Canada, Curacao, Jamaica, Mexico, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Your boat will be centered in the area you purchase for the day.

Are you saying that you just need to be in cell range to subscribe for your trip length and after that the weather info works wherever you go during that period?

It works for a 24 hour period as long as you are in cell range.

The cell service is AT&T. So make sure you have good service in the area where you fish.
