Default Furuno 7000 chartplotter help with navigation and bathymetric charts

New to the forums here so any help that can be provided would be very much appreciated.

I've just purchased the c-map bathymetric chart for the Furuno 7000 chartplotter and run it in conjunction with the navigation chart. However, the navigation chart seems to override the bathymetric one whenever I zoom in closer than 0.5nm rather than overlaying the two charts. In actual fact, the bathymetric chart appears for a quick second and then disappears as the navigation chart sits on top of it.

I've tried switching the mixing levels off and adjusting the customisation / viewing levels to no avail.

Has anybody else had this issue before and if so, could it be corrected or is it a nuance of the Furuno chartplotters.

Thanks all
