Default Thanks for the Battery /Switch /combiner info!

With the help of a good friend (he did most of the work) We installed a dual battery set-up with 3 switches and a combiner today. All from info gathered here at THT. We tested it out and every thing seems to work fine. Just wanted to say thanks for all the help I received here on the board. Folks like Chaps, Thom, Preoccupation, GW204, Birdman, auguste and Kamper and many others make this board a great place. Never seen so many so willing to share information and knowledge. You guys never seem to mind answering similair questions or taking time to send links where us newbies can find answers and learn how to do things correctly.

Now comes the time to install all of the electronics so bear with me I'm sure I'll have plenty more dumb questions but until then everyone have a great Holiday!

Thanks Again

Amen Quality! That's what make this place great. The posters you mentioned are stand-up guys. Glad to hear their advice helped you out.

Now I wish everyone would post updates on how the advice received here helped them out.

Glad to help. Not sure why everyone else does it, but I'll tell ya why I do (while at the same time posting to Seabass's request...).

I had a million questions here when I was searching for a new boat and rigging it. I received a LOTS/TONS/ENDLESS amount of great info, ideas and direct help on things I thought in a million years nobody could answer. I I mean boating related things, electrical, stereo,...... everything!! So, I'm giving some back. Some of which is real world experience while doing the above, which to me, is better than anything. You can state what's best out of a manual, journal, hearsay all say long, but until your tried it or done it, it means nothing most of the time.

I learn things on THT every single day. Also, I enjoy talkin boats, and solving boat related problems.
