Default Which speakers?

I am looking for 4 speakers. I was planning on going with jl audio 7" speakers but I have also been reading about memphis audio speakers? Will be on a cc 2 in console and two in bow locker. They will be powered by 4 channel jl audio amp. I have tried looking around palm beach area and have been unable to find any dealers to listen to them. If anyone can offer some suggestions on which as well as any dealers in south Florida I would appreciate it!

dv8 motorsports in lake park has memphis audio and those guys seem to like them but they are also a memphis dealer. i have jls on my boat in jupiter if you want to hear them or audio advisors or whatever its called now on palm beach lakes has a little marine system set up in there shop. Memphis car audio sound decent but its a cheaper speaker compared to the jl. but you can also get all your speakers from memphis for the price of 2 jls.

I'm very happy with my JL's, I don't think you will have any regrets spending a little extra on them.

I also have Rockford Fosgates on my other boat and they sound amazing too.......I would put them on the same level as the JL's easily.......

So you like the JL's? Which ones do you have?
Only complaint I have heard on the JL's is there price. Which if they hold up and sound good that is great for me!

I'd put the memphis against the JL any day...and hands down, my money is with the memphis stuff. I just put a complete memphis system on a boat and it sounded great!!!

From what I have read and thru research, The JL's seem to be the way to go. However, I went with the 7" Fusions because I also purchased other Fusion componets for my system (not installed yet). I wanted to keep all the componets from the same mfg. I know that makes no sense, but I heard a Fusion system and it sounded really good. FWIW.

If all of those are in one boat , that may be overkill!
I am pretty sure I will end up ordering 4 7.7's and 2 subs

Yep all in one boat and not overkill depending on what ur doing. Running 60 I can hear my music. Plus its loud and clean at the sandbar so I don't have to listen to distorted speakers.

you have to make a run of 2 -3 hours at 50 mph to full appreciate what Brad has done here. It changes the way you boat. Yeah, I know "I like to hear the roar of the engines and the wind in my hair" - great.... glad you like that. I'd rather be jammin....

6 batteries for the stereo alone? If so, how do you charge them all? Or is it two for each engine?
