Default Suggestions on a 2-Way/Walkie Talkie

Not an arm-n-leg, just something decent. I don't fish very far. If i give this to my friend for his other boat or family member on land, just for the day. Maybe 5-20 miles at the most.

All the hand held walkie talkies that I know of have a range of 5 miles or less. To get that range you are going to need a long antena.

I have the Standard Horizon HX760S. Purchased it about 6 months ago and it has worked without problem. Can scan/WX/16 chan selector, blue tooth capable and has its own charger, both 12V and 110. I paid about $149 for mine. They are still available at even lower prices now if you shop around.
