Default Need suggestions for replacing Cetrek 770 autopilot

I have a '90 37 ft trawler, twin turbo diesels, that is presently equipped with a Cetrek 770 autopilot. I've had the boat for two seasons, the autopilot has never been great, but was better than nothing. This weekend it quit entirely, the screen flashing a "f" and the heading it shows is around 180 degrees opposite of the true heading.

Since the company is long gone I'm planning on just replacing it. Anyone have any suggestions? Are there any parts that are salvageable for a new system?

For navigation I run a laptop with Nobeltec VNS11, everything connected by NMEA 0183. Nobeltec radar as well, so that system is staying for a while.

I also have a Garmin 740s for backup and sounder.

Thanks
