Default airmar m260 adapter plate

when updating my garmin sounder unit from the gsd 20 to the gsd 22 the m260 transducer that was installed on my boat needed to be updated as well. (airmar says the gsd22 will not identify the ducer and will not operate at full power.) as luck would have it, they also changed the tank design. instead of cutting off the old tank and glassing on a new one, i made an adapter plate (fully machined with threaded inserts and all) out of black nylon. made for a pretty clean install and a lot less work than replacing the tank. if anyone else has this problem i could make a few extras. or if anyone is looking for a new two piece tank for an m260 i would sell that as well.

Do you know the measurements between the holes on the plate you made (dimensions?) I had to go with the hockey puck because they changed the dimensions of theirs with the plate as it compares to the glassed in box on my fountain. If the measurements are the same I would be interested. Thanks,

the tank dimesions are: 4 3/8" (4.375") x 7 3/4" (7.750") and uses a 3/8-16 screw. the trasducer dimensions are metric: 103.5mm (4.075") x 173.0mm (6.811") and uses a 1/4-20 screw.

the first is the old style tank, the second is the new two piece, and third is a model of the adapter i made.
