Default should I scrap my old electronics

Just picked up my new '93 boat.
It has a bunch of antiquated (sp) electronics. Should I learn these items and look for parts or scrap them and start saving for more modern equipment?
I can't go out this winter and replace them all, but some are in need of some care and I don't know if they are worth it. To put this subjective question another way, if they all worked perfect I'd stick with them until I decided what I wanted to replace and go one at a time.
I have an old Autohelm ST50 Navcenter. The card is not for my area. It works fine but its old and I need a new card for my traveling area. What to do? Are the cards still available?

Ray, ST5000 A/P. I know its not the best but it powers up but I haven't tested it yet. During sea trial, we couldn't get it going.

These are the two I'm speaking of most. GPS and fishfinders are something I will deal with at another time because I'm fairly certain of what I want or what I want to pirate out of my other boat.

Any thoughts on those two old pieces of equipment?
