Default Distilled water?

Ok, I can rip out a 327 from a 65 corvette and rebuild it with my buddy but when my boats low maintenance battery calls for distilled water I have no clue where to get it. I think I know what it is, but where do I get it??

That was a quick reply- thanks! Funny thing is I was at Wallyworld today and asked the guy in auto- he never heard of it and sent me off to the grocery section. Looked but could not find it. I'll look harder next time.

FireFly - if you cannot find it in your grocery store they have it at CVS.

Any drug store or most grocery stores will have it. I use it for anything where the water has to be pure with no minerals and spring water won't cut it. A gallon lasts a long time, even using it for 3 batteries and a humidor.
Vapor distilled water is water that has been allowed to evaporate, and then the vapors are condensed to form water again - that way there are no dissolved minerals like you'd find in spring water. If it's any consolation, I would be completely clueless when it comes to rebuilding a 327.

Most stores have switched to "reverse osmosis" water instead which is funtionally the same, just purified in a different process.

Yep, CVS or any of the chain drug stores have a whole bunch of it.
